Site Welder (Fabricator) - PAY DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE (ON-SITE)

The Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Welder Fabricator to join our site team. You will be responsible for fitting balustrades and wall-mounted handrails on construction sites across London, forming up wreaths and returns on landings and half-landings within stair cores.

You will work alongside a fitter’s mate who will assist with measuring, drilling, and painting, allowing you to focus on the quality and precision of the welding. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, representing Stair Formwork Ltd professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Forming and fitting balustrade wreaths and returns on landings and half-landings
• Installing wall-mounted handrails to specification
• Using 110v MMA welder, drills, grinders, and associated tools
• Working methodically and safely, with safety as the number one priority
• Liaising with clients and site management professionally
• Problem-solving on site with a positive, can-do attitude

• Qualification: Valid CSCS card (required)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of fabrication experience (preferred)
• Skills: Proficient with 110v MMA welding and associated site tools
• Character: Hardworking, trustworthy, and reliable
• Mindset: A problem solver, not a problem announcer. We need positive, solutions-focused individuals.
